Ceramic books? I can understand your confusion... I'm unsure where this idea came from, but I believe it was on a weekend break to Woodstock. I've incorporated handmade or khadi papers into two sizes of book. One is a tiny pocket book that uses an accordion fold for the coloured paper. The book is held closed by complementary ribbons that match the stars displayed on the front and back. The larger book is hand stitched khadi paper and is held together with ribbon lacing that doubles as a bookmark when in use. They have a decorative wee key and a matching bell, and further ribbon to tie them closed. They match my biscuits and together make a lovely package for a wedding as a guest book and favours. Or for anything else where you just want a posh book!
